Amsterdam exceeded my expectations! I’ve always dreamed about living somewhere I can hop on a train or plane and go somewhere new. Not only is this place in the Netherlands super convenient -it’s warm and inviting. Everyone spoke Dutch, English, and French on top of their cultural language. The Dutch take pride in their country and somehow keep it spotlessly clean, which is something I appreciate coming from a place with like-minded values. The Dutch are abrupt but thorough and stick to the routine and do as they please! Mothers and Fathers carrying babies and breakfast on their bikes bustling through the mornings while others wake up to get coffee and have a smoke! I’m so happy to have experienced this culture, and I can’t wait to go back!
